On stage, Hannah has opened for The Rolling Stones (with Kanye West), Bassnectar at Stubb’s in Austin, TX (with Haj Ji and Jon Margulies), Shpongle Live at Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC (solo) and EOTO at the Skyway Theater in Minneapolis, MN (solo) and at House of Blues, Boston, MA (with the Zebbler Encanti Experience). She was a guest performer at Barack Obama’s Inauguration 2013, the 2012 Alvin Ailey Gala in NYC, and she’s been sighted on TEDxBrooklyn with PjOE for a nationally broadcast performance. She is a former resident at NYC’s Church and Alex Grey’s Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM). Hannah studied electronic music production at Dubspot, and classical, world, jazz, and composition at New England Conservatory in Boston, MA, and in Spain, Morocco, Greece and Germany.
In studio, she recorded with Grammy-nominated Irma Thomas (Rounder Records 2008), rising stars Beats Antique (Contraption, Vol. 1), Voltaire (Brian Viglione of Dresden Dolls and Melora Kreuger of Rasputina also on the record), and Mark Saunders (multi-platinum producer for The Cure, Cyndi Lauper, David Byrne), Ancient Astronauts (Switchstance Recordings), and The Rising Smoke of the Hobo Kings’ EP: Smotin’ at the Water (Jon Margulies, Haj Ji). More recently, Hannah performed at Wanderlust Music + Yoga Festivals scoring her original music for yoga flows. With her bands Copal and Nyxyss, or solo, Hannah’s inspired melodic sense stirs both deep emotions and dancefloors.
